About the Class

Ā

DBT skill class for Therapists is an ongoing weekly class that follows a rotating DBT skills curriculum. Rather than enrolling in a closed cohort, therapists subscribe monthly and attend while their subscription is active.

The class rotates through the major DBT skills modules over time. Each rotation includes mindfulness skills and one core skills module, such as Distress Tolerance, Emotion Regulation, or Interpersonal Effectiveness.

Because the curriculum repeats and builds over time, therapists can join at any point, continue through multiple modules, and revisit skills as their clinical understanding deepens.

Each class includes DBT skills teaching, discussion, reflection, clinical examples, and practical application. The focus is on helping therapists understand the skills well enough to teach them clearly, apply them thoughtfully, and connect them to real clinical situations.

This is a skills-focused professional education class. It is not therapy for therapists, clinical supervision, formal comprehensive DBT intensive training, or DBT certification.Ā
