No gardening experience required, just curiosity.

We’ll cover the basics of therapeutic horticulture, explore activity ideas for supporting clients with trauma, ADHD, grief, and anxiety, and walk through hands-on techniques you can start using right away.

About the Facilitator
Kristen Shuler, LCSW, is a DBT therapist, educator, and plant enthusiast who helps therapists bring creativity and grounding into their work. She provides both individual and group-based fidelity DBT therapy and utilizes therapeutic horticulture techniques to adapt learning for neurodivergent clients. She created this workshop for other therapists who want simple, tangible tools for mindfulness and emotional regulation. Kristen is a student at the Horticultural Therapy Institute and is working towards HT-BC board certification.Â
